Tammy "Whammy" Faith Pack Bowman

Mrs. Tammy “Whammy” Faith Pack Bowman, age 42 of Claudville, Virginia, went to her Heavenly home on Sunday, April 27, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones at her home. She was born in Patrick County on October 6, 1982, to the late Gaston William Pack and Judy Ann Thomas Pack. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Louis and Irene Thomas; paternal grandparents, James Pack and Elsie Pack Adkins; a stepdaughter, Stephanie Bowman; and brother-in-law, William “Chris” Walker. Tammy was a member of New Beginning Church in Claudville, Virginia. She was a dedicated caregiver, who took joy in caring for her clients. Tammy loved roses and her family dearly. She loved her mama and her babies with her whole heart.

Tammy is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Melvin Bowman of the home; a son, Nathan Rogers Bowman (Emily Nelson) of Stuart, Virginia; beloved mother, Judy Ann Thomas Pack (James Vipperman) of Claudville; a step-grandchild, Jeremiah Bowman of Ararat; a brother, Barry Pack (April) of Stuart; two sisters, Shanna Goins of Stuart and Sandy Walker (Herman Linster) of Stuart; a special brother-in-law, James Goins of Stuart; nieces, Izabella Walker and Lexi Goins; and nephews, William “Will” Pack and Harley Pack.

The funeral service for Mrs. Bowman will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Dewayne Troutt officiating. The burial will immediately follow in Mary Horner Walker Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday morning.
