Mr. Teddy Ray Trivette, age 90, was born June 27, 1933, to the late Clark Trivette and Gracie Harmon Trivette. Mr. Trivette was a US Army veteran of the Korean War and was part of the 82nd Airborne Division. Teddy was a general contractor for many years and built several houses and buildings throughout the Mt. Airy area.  He was an extremely hard worker, but loved traveling with his wife, Mildred, and their friends; Curtis Williams (Sue) and Hurley Farmer (Polly).  Teddy very much loved his faithful dog, Snowball. He is survived by his wife Mildred Cox Trivette, daughter and son-in-law, Angela Hicks & husband Floyd, sons and daughters-in-law; Michael Trivette & wife Sharon, Al Trivette & wife Deborah; granddaughters and spouses; Wendy Ray & husband Jeremy, Sarah Holder & husband Brad, Suzanne Giammalva & husband Dylan, great grandsons; Levi and Jacob Ray, great granddaughters; Carmen & Maggie Holder; Sisters; Vada Cornett, Georgia Lunceford.  Mr. Trivette is also survived by several nieces and nephews, stepchildren; Melba Hull (Steve), David Smith (Sandy), step-grandchildren; Tiffany Bullins (Rev. Scotty), Oliva Snow (Hunter), and Lillie Chilton (Madison), step great-grandchildren; Gracie Bullins, Tyde Snow, and Finn Snow, sister-in-law; Blanche Trivette.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Trivette was preceded in death by his brothers and sister-in-law; Fred Trivette and wife Betty, Ira Trivette, brother-in-laws; Beecher Cornett and Ray Lunceford.  The family wants to express their sincere appreciation to his friends and neighbors for their love and support, and to Nickole & Deborah for their compassionate care. Teddy was very blessed with loving friends and family.  Funeral services will be held Monday, August 7th, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Scotty Bullins officiating.  The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.  Military rites will follow by the VFW honor guard Mt. Airy post#2019 and Pilot Mountain post#9436.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Trivettes honor to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.  Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Trivette family.
