Terry Wayne Payne

Terry Wayne Payne, born on August 16, 1966, in Forsyth County, North Carolina, departed from this world on June 24, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center. He is remembered as a loving son, brother, and a friend to all who had the pleasure of crossing his path.

Terry was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Robert Franklin Payne and Thelma Arlene Reid Payne, alongside his great nephew, Tuff Alexander Johnson. And a brother Robert Martin Payne Their memories remain cherished in the hearts of those who knew them.

In life, Terry was a source of warmth and kindness. He was a loving brother to his siblings: Shirley Carpenter and her husband, Greg, Judy Payne, Pamela Johnson and her husband, David, Jerry Payne and his wife, Libby, and Ronnie Payne and his wife, Wanda. His family will carry with them the love and laughter he shared with them. Terry is also survived by several nieces and nephews, each of whom he held dear.

A memorial service in honor of Terry will be held on June 28, 2025, at the Community Church located at 280 O'Neal Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030, starting at 2:00 PM with Rev. Steven Corn and Rev. Phillip Adams officiating.
