Terry Glen Westbrook

Mr. Terry Glen Westbrook, age 66, of Statesville, NC passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026. Mr. Westbrook was born on April 24, 1960, in Carson City, Nevada, to the late Haywood Nelson Marion and Naomi Katherine Smith Marion. Mr. Westbrook loved life, to learn, meeting others, working and being outside, and building his own homes. He loved his Toyota Tundra, but most of all he loved his dogs like they were his family. He was also good at being a comedian. He could make one laugh when you least expected it. Mr. Westbrook had several careers. He initially obtained a college degree in law enforcement. He also obtained his continuing education and special training programs at Surry Community College in Dobson, NC in Fire Fighting, CPR, NC Justice Academy, Annual Firearms Training, and many more. He worked for the Pilot Mountain Police Department and was appointed Special Policeman #1493. After this career, he moved to Statesville and worked at Iredell Memorial Hospital in the payroll department for numerous years. His hobby during this time was selling accessories for trucks. He sold vehicles, then he obtained his real estate license and worked at REMAX, G West Investments, and retired in April of 2026. Left to cherish his memories are his sisters, Cindy Moore, Vickie Porter-Hoffman, Rhonda Westbrook, Lisa Hodges, his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and William Mabe, brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Deb Marion; several nieces and nephews; and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and many cousins. There will not be any formal visitation.
