Thomas Edward "Tommy" Rippey

Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Edward Rippey, age 68 of Cana, Virginia passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at his home. Mr. Rippey was born on December 26, 1955, in Grayson County to the late John Raymond and Catherine Boyd Rippey. Tommy was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Surviving is his sons and daughters-in-law, Cody Rippey and wife Tonya, Matthew Rippey and wife Ashley, grandchildren, Garrett Rippey, Logan Rippey, Sophia Rippey; a special cousin, Karen Rippey McMillian, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rippey was preceded in death by sister, Susan Rippey Franklin, and a brother, John William “Bill” Rippey. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
