Thomas Clifford Starling, Jr.

Mr. Thomas Clifford Starling, Jr., age 60, of Clemmons, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at his home. He was born on February 26, 1964, in Fayetteville, NC to the late Thomas Clifford Starling, Sr. and Carol Sue Everhart Starling. Mr. Starling retired as a Construction Inspector Supervisor with the Engineering Department for the City of Winston-Salem. He was a member of Wilshire Golf Club. He and his family were very active in the Lowgap Wildlife Club. Mr. Starling is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sarah Scott Starling; sister. Michelle; mother-in-law, Sheila Scott; niece, Ashlyn Creech; nephew, Jaxson Creech; brother- in-law, Kermit Creech; and several cousins. Mr. Starling was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Bill Scott. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the service conducted by Rev. Austin Caviness. Burial will follow in Ivy Green Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm Sunday until the time for the service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the Lowgap Wildlife Club, c/o Colt Simmons Construction Company, 948 Miller Road, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
