Thomas "Tommy" Arthur Hill

Mr. Thomas Arthur “Tommy” Hill, age 64, of Mount Airy, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025, at his residence. Mr. Hill was born in Surry County on June 14, 1961, to the late George Leon and Violet Marie Thomas Hill. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and dear friend to many, he’ll be deeply missed by all who knew him. Tommy was no stranger, always making friends, he loved the lord, devoted Christian, and loved to go fishing and play golf. Surviving Tommy is a sister, Gilda “Sis” Cooke; nieces and nephews, Van and Jennifer Cooke (Samantha, Morgan), Lisa “Tinker” Galyean and Robbie, Blake Bowman and Sarah (Harper and Kori), Shane Hill and Kaitlyn (Kimberly, Rose and Ivy). In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his brothers, Tony Ray Hill, Albert Preston Hill. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of The Derby, whom was like a second family to him. Moodys of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Hill family.
