Todd Michael Cave

Mr. Todd Michael Cave, 41, of Dobson, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, May 3, 2011. He was born December 18, 1969, in Surry County, to Elden Alfred Cave, Sr. and Jackie Ann Johnson Cave. Mr. Cave was employed by Food Lion and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his parents, Elden Alfred Cave, Sr. and Jackie Ann Johnson Cave; a brother and sister-in-law, Elden Alfred Cave, Jr. and Tonya Cave of Dobson; special nephews, Austin Cave and Michael Nelson; three aunts and their husbands, Bernice "Pat" Howell of Yadkinville, Judy and Charles Welch of Dobson, and Shelba and Don Whitaker of Ararat; and an uncle and his wife, Edsel and Polly Johnson of Ararat. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, BR and Della Cave of Dobson and Harvey and Ollie Johnson of Ararat. The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Salem Fork Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tom Park and the Rev. Dennis Bledsoe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the church, where his body will remain until the hour of the service.
