Tommy Gray Creed

Mr. Tommy Gray Creed, age 63, of Lowgap, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at his residence. Mr. Creed was born in Surry County on September 26, 1962, to Buddy Wayne and Catherine Haynes Creed. Tommy grew up working with his dad on the family farm. They worked together growing tobacco. He loved working on the tractors and working closely with his father, until his father’s sickness of Huntington’s Disease. Tommy in return started helping his mom care for his father, being there every step of the way. Left to cherish his memories are his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa Anderson and Kirk of College Grove, Tennessee; nieces, Anna Anderson, Ashlyn Anderson of College Grove, Tennessee; many special cousins and friends. A celebration of Tommy’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy, with the Bro. Rick Crouse officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, from 11:00 AM until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Huntington’s Disease Society of America 505 Eighth Avenue, Suite 1402, New York, NY 10018.
