Tony "Allan" Tilley

Mr. Tony “Allan” Tilley, 61, of Pilot Mountain, passed away Wednesday morning, March 30, 2022, at Atrium Health – Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem.  Mr. Tilley was born June 9, 1960, in Forsyth County, the son of Frank D. Tilley and the late Carol Jean Lee Tilley.  Allan worked as a construction worker and lawn maintenance worker for many years.  He is survived by a daughter, Candace Poole Hash of Ennice; a son, Ryan Poole of Ennice; a grandson, Mitchell Hash; his father, Frank D. Tilley of Mount Airy; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Camilla and Robert Joyce and Penny and Ricky Goins, all of Pilot Mountain; a brother, Todd Tilley of Ararat; and several nieces and nephews.  A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 10, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Ricky Hughes officiating.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 until 3:00 PM at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HonorBridge, 1430 Westbrook Plaza Drive, Winston-Salem, NC  27103.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
