Tonya Michelle Bonds Martin
Mrs. Tonya Michelle Bonds Martin, age 47 of Danbury passed away Saturday morning April 13, 2024, at her home. She was born October 3, 1976, in Forsyth County to Herman Jayhue “Jay” Bonds and Angela Lee Atchley Bonds. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend who was loved by so many. Michelle loved to take pictures and share them with friends and loved ones. In addition to her parents, Michelle is survived by her husband, Chris Martin; three sons, Levi Allen Beck, Nathaniel Jayhue Bonds, and Kristian Lee Bonds; brother and sister-in-law, Dawayne and Sonia Bonds; a special sister, Chrystal Hardy; and several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and numerous cousins. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Jay Bonds; and her grandparents, Vernie and Ruth Bonds, and Horace and Katherine Atchley. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 20, 2024, at Genesis Full Gospel Church at 2:00pm with the Rev. Tom Slate and Brother Michael Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the church from 12:30 – 2:00pm. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
