Travis Lee Martin

Mr. Travis Lee Martin, age 53, of Claudville, Virginia, passed away Monday evening, August 31, 2026, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. Mr. Martin was born in Surry County, on April 5, 1973, to Jeffery Dale and Billie Faye Scott Martin. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. From a very young age, Travis was a fighter, overcoming obstacles, but never gave up. He was a very lovable person, always smiling, and living life to the fullest. Left to cherish his memories are his parents; sisters, Lisa Martin, Sherry Anderson; brother and sister-in-law, Jeffery Martin and Cometta; nieces, Stephanie Allen Coburn and Sarah Allen; nephews, Aaron Martin and Jody Martin. Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Raymond and Lillian Martin; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Frances Scott. The family will hold a celebration of Travis’s life at a later date. Moodys of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Martin family.
