Van Alan Payne

Mr. Van Alan Payne, age 47, of Mt. Airy, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019, at his home.  Mr. Payne was born in Forsyth County on February 26, 1972.  He was a loving father, son, brother and dear friend.  Surviving is a daughter, Katlyn Payne; a son, Christian Payne; his parents, Mondale and Betty Winesett Payne; a brother and sister-in-law, Brandal and Stacy Payne; sister and brother-in-law, Joy and Dale Chappell. Mr. Payne was preceded in death by a sister, Jan Payne.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 28, 2019, at White Plains Baptist Church by Rev. David Tucker, Rev. Dale Hawks, and Rev. Larry Norman.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time for the service at the church.
