Vicki Diane Brown Dunbar

Mrs. Vicki Diane Brown Dunbar, age 67 of Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday morning January 16th, 2024, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.  She was born February 13, 1956, in Guilford County to the late Walter “Buck” and Betty Brown.  Vicki was a loving wife, mother, and most recently a grandmother. As Vicki was a lover of birds and the natural world, we ask that in lieu of sending flowers you plant a tree, fill a bird feeder, and donate to your favorite charity.  Mrs. Dunbar is survived by her husband, Ricky Dean Dunbar (“Rick Honey”) of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Paul Dunbar (Paul Son) and Dr. Mary Bushman (Ms. Mary) of Watertown MA; and her precious grandbaby, (Miss) Avery Dunbar.  A celebration of life for Mrs. Dunbar will be held on Saturday January 27, 2024, from 1:00 – 3:00pm at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
