Walter Henry Gregg

Mr. Walter Henry Gregg, age 58, of Mount Airy, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at his residence. Mr. Gregg was born on December 21, 1967, in New Castle, Delaware to the late Walter Nelson and Wilma Ann Carter Gregg. He was a loving father, grandfather, sibling and friend, who will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Mr. Gregg worked many years as a director for multiple radio stations for the board of education in Alaska. Left to cherish his memories are his daughter and son-in-law, Brittany Gregg and Thomas Mecimore; grandchildren, Cayden Gregg and Damian Jennings; sisters, Linda Gregg, Theresa Carter, Victoria Gregg and JoAnn Morris; brothers, James Lee Carter, Christopher Gregg, Nick Gregg; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gregg was preceded in death by his brother, James Morris. Per his wishes, there will not be any formal services held at this time. Moodys of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Gregg family.
