Wanda Gaye Young Jackson

Ms. Wanda Gaye Young Jackson, 63, of Pinnacle, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015. Ms. Jackson was born January 13, 1952, in Patrick County, VA, to Mary Etta Bowman Young and the late Kyle Jefferson Young. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a dear sister who will be dearly missed. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Christina Gwyn; her grandchildren, Kadin and Montana; her dear mother, Mary Etta Bowman Young; a sister, Peggy F. Iroler; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and JoAnn Foley and Russell and Wanda Young; a niece, Anna Wood; and three nephews, Zachary Foley, Kent Iroler and Jason Iroler. In addition to her father, Ms. Young was preceded in death by a nephew, Tyler Young. The funeral service will be held Sunday, November 15, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with the Rev. Darren Slate officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday one hour prior to the service.
