Wanda Gaye Lawson

Ms. Wanda Gaye Arrington Lawson, 76, of Mount Airy passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 26, 2020.  She was born in Surry County on July 28, 1943 to the late Lacy Arrington and Dorothy Inman Arrington.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.  Left to cherish her memory are her son. Kenneth Rex Lawson; grandchildren, Gracin Schae Lawson and Richard Garrett Lawson; an and a sister and a brother-in-law, Jean and Joe Bill Adams; and by nephews, Marty and Sally Adams, Tony and Dan Young, and Wesley and Donna Martin.  In addition to her parents, Ms. Lawson was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Martin.  There will be no formal services for Ms. Lawson at the funeral home.  Moody Funeral Service is proudly serving the Lawson family.
