Warren Douglas Cobbler, known lovingly to family and friends as "Doug," passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 75 at Northern Regional Hospital in Mt . Airy, NC surrounded by his daughter. Born on October 29, 1949, in Patrick County, Virginia to the late Joseph Richard Cobbler and Mildred Coleman Cobbler. He was the co-owner of Cobbler Brothers Logging, a sawmill and logging company he ran proudly with his brother, Larry. He was never happier than when he was out looking at timber or working alongside family. Nothing put a smile on his face like his granddaughter calling him "Pap".
