Wendy Jane Crissman

Ms. Wendy Jane Crissman, age 51, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born December 7, 1967 in Surry County to Junior Martin and Jannie Bell Beck Crissman. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her companion, Tim Thompson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie Walker, Sheryl Crissman Mace and Carroll Mace, and Buffy and Lackey Hall; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Sharon Crissman; nephews, Zack (Amanda) Crissman and Timothy Hall; niece, Ashley Hall;  and a great-niece, Emarie Kay Crissman. She was preceded in death by Tim’s daughter, Taylor Thompson; brother-in-law, Ralph Walker; and a great-nephew, Jordan Lee Crissman.  Wendy was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church and had worked at Unifi and Sue’s Kitchen in Dobson. Visitation will be Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 12:00-3:00 PM at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 194 Poplar Springs Road, Siloam, NC 27047.  The service will follow at 3:00 PM in the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Derrick L. Davis Cancer Center, 3333 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem NC  27103. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is serving the Crissman family.
