In Loving Memory of Wendy Denise Sheppard Holcomb
Wendy Denise Sheppard Holcomb passed peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2026. She was born October 8, 1970, in Stuart, Virginia.
Wendy is survived by her loving children, Lucas and Ashlyn Holcomb; her devoted parents, Joel and Ruby Sheppard; her faithful sister, Mitzi; her beloved nephews, Gannon and Abram; and many caring family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
Wendy dedicated her life to Jesus Christ and her constant faith grew even stronger as she faced cancer three times. Through every trial, Wendy trusted that God was with her, strengthening and carrying her with His love.
Wendy dedicated her career to advocating for individuals with special needs, finding great joy in helping others and making a difference in their lives. She had a true servant’s heart and was always ready to listen, encourage, and lend a helping hand.
Wendy brought joy and positivity wherever she went. She loved serving in children’s ministries, supporting the band boosters, fellowship with her church family, traveling, laughing, and making memories with those she loved.
Above all, Wendy loved her Savior, Jesus Christ. She would want everyone to remember her message: Live your life for Him today.
Wendy faced her final journey with faith and peace, knowing she was going home to her Savior. She would want to be remembered not with sadness, but with laughter, happiness, and gratitude for the life she lived and the love she shared.
Flowers are welcome, or in lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation to a charity of your choice in Wendy’s memory.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
