Billy Alen Kohel

William Allan “Billy” Koehl, age 56, of Dobson, NC passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Northern Regional Hospital in Mt. Airy, NC.  He was born in Kendallville, Indiana on September 22, 1965, to the late Franklin Eugene Koehl, Jr. and the late Karen Lee Thompson Koehl. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky Eugene Koehl, and David Lee Koehl: nephew Robert William Koehl.  He had worked at Wayne Farms, he attended Surry Community College.  Surviving is his fiancée, Lynn Edwards; two sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy L. Smith, Sheila and Richard Castillo; brother, Terry Koehl and Betty Giles; several nieces and nephews.  There will be no formal services held at the funeral home.  Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Koehl family.
