William Michael Stevens

Mr. William Michael Stevens, age 61, of Mount Airy passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. He was born in Surry County, October 29, 1962, the son of the late William Dallas and Agnes Marie Draughn Stevens. Mr. Stevens worked as a brick mason and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his daughter, Anna Dalton; grandchildren, Lexie and Robert; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Johnny Turney; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Sharon Stevens; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny William Stevens. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 10, 2024, 2:00 PM, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mount Airy with Rev. Charles Stevens officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. Moody Funeral Service of Mount Airy is serving the Stevens family.
