William Charlie Thomas Pack

On the morning of August 24, 2025, at 7:08a.m., Heaven gained a beautiful angel when our sweet William Charlie Thomas Pack, only five years old, left this world. Though his time here was heartbreakingly short, William filled every moment of his life with laughter, love, and light. Born to April and Barry Pack, William was a child who brought immeasurable joy to his family and all who knew him. His smile could brighten the darkest of days, and his laughter was the kind of pure, contagious sound that made everyone around him smile too. He was the sunshine no matter how dark the days were.

William loved playing, exploring, and discovering new things—always curious, always full of wonder. He had a way of turning simple moments into treasured memories, whether it was chasing bubbles, giggling at his favorite cartoon Paw Patrol or dancing to The Andy Griffith theme song. William was the sunshine not just to his family, but to everyone he encountered. His kindness and joy left an imprint on countless hearts.

He is survived by his loving parents; April and Barry Pack; brother Harley Lester Louis Pack; maternal grandma, Nonnie "Minnie" Mae Jones; paternal grandparents, Judy Pack and James Vipperman; aunts and uncles, Teresa and Greg Martin, Sandy and Herman Linster, Melvin Bowman. Shanna Goins; godfather, Zachary Townson, who was very special to William; friend and uncle, James Goins; and lots of family members and friends who adored him deeply. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bro. Herbert Jones and Gaston Pack; aunt Tammy "Whammy" Bowman; and uncle William "Chris" Walker.

Funeral services for William will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart, Virginia with Pastor Philip Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Stuart Church of Christ Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
