William Gary Wright

Mr. William Gary Wright age 66 of Mt. Airy, NC. passed away Friday May 29, 2015 at the Wake Forest Medical Center in Winston Salem. Mr. Wright was born December 19, 1948 in Patrick County to the late Bernard Mitchel Wright, Sr. and Melba Johnson Wright. Mr. Wright was retired from Parrish Tire Co. as a mechanic and tire specialist. Surviving are his wife Pauline Goins Wright of Mt. Airy, four step daughters and spouses Darla Hodges, Patricia and Robert Eaton and Linda and Michael Tilley all of Mt. Airy and Martha and Wayne Hege of Winston Salem, Seven step grandchildren, nine step great grandchildren, one sister and brother-in-law Brenda and Brent Tilley of Ararat, NC., one brother Bernard Mitchell "Mickey" Wright, Jr., nieces and nephews Chris Wright of Holly Pond, AL., Mitchell Wright of Mt. Airy, Missy Lowry of Burlington, Beth Green of Pinnacle and Brad Tilley of Chicago, IL. Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 2, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Tim Smith with burial to follow in the Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:30 PM until time for the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
