Yvonne Justine Johnson

Ms. Yvonne Justine Ullrich Johnson, age 96 of Patrick Springs, Virginia passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, August 24, 2026. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 2, 1930 to the late Erwin Ullrich, Sr and Marie Seidl. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Erwin Ullrich, Jr. Yvonne faithfully served in the United States Marine Corp. She was a very spiritual person, who was diligent in her tithing efforts. She started working as a nutritionist for Allen Bradley in Milwaukee, WI. She also worked as a journalist where she wrote, directed and hosted a weekly consumer program for a small cable station. She then worked in sales for the Washington Star, a gemologist/jeweler. She also started her own business as a pet and family photographer. Her final years were spent with Walmart in Fair Oaks, VA where she started as a team safety coordinator and finally a cashier before retiring for good during covid. She enjoyed her pets through the years and loved her family dearly. She will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish the memories of Yvonne are her son, Mark Johnstone and Charlotte Brown, whom she always referred to lovingly as her daughter in law; two grandsons, Matthew Johnstone and Timothy Johnstone; and two dear friends, Adonay Alvarez and Jennifer Barrios.
