Zane Samuel Cox

Mr. Zane Samuel Cox, 86, of Pfafftown, NC passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Patrick County, VA on February 3, 1929 to the late Samuel and Mattie Anderson Cox. Mr. Cox was retired from Allied Freight System. He is survived by his loving wife, Mycleta Reynolds Cox of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Janice Utt and James of Pfafftown; a son, Donald Cox of the home; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Cox was preceded in death by four sisters, Hallie Bondurant, Vera Smith, Inez Cook, and Lois Mabe; two brothers, Walter and Fred Cox. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 1:30 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens with the Rev. Billy Moore officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 until 1:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
